Reading Challenge Book Club February: Deacon King Kong

A New Reading Challenge

& a New Book Club!

Join us to talk about Deacon King Kong via Zoom!

The Challenge: We are challenging our community to step out of their reading comfort-zones and read a new genre or type of book you may not naturally pick up. Each month we will curate selections that fit the challenge, and we will feature them here, in-store, and on social media. We would love for you to share with us and tag us via our social media what you are reading for the challenge! This month's challenge is to read a book written by a person of color.

The Book Club:

We will also host a virtual book club that will discuss a book that fits that month's challenge. This book club is free and open to anyone. You simply have to register via the zoom link. We will offer 20% off the book club if you want to purchase it from us, but this is not necessary to participate. With us, you may buy in-store, call in, or do curbside pickup. You may buy online, but you must select PAY AT STORE, to receive the discount. Then, you can pay at store over the phone or in person. We will always meet on the last Sunday of the month at 6:30 PM.

This Month's Book Club pick is...

Deacon King Kong by James McBride
