Synopsis:

From the East Baltimore playground courts to Wake Forest University, Tyrone “Muggsy” Bogues learned the meaning of hard work. He proved his doubters wrong, standing at five-foot-three as the starting point guard for the Charlotte Hornets and playing in more than 800 NBA games. Bogues new autobiography details his life and career, reflecting on legendary battles with Michael Jordan and playing alongside Larry Johnson, Latrell Sprewell, Vince Carter, and other generational ’80s and ’90s hoops stars. He shares anecdotes from his playoff runs in Charlotte, his appearance in several TV shows and movies, and his stint coaching in the WNBA.

Author Bio:

Tyrone “Muggsy” Bogues was selected 12th overall in the 1987 NBA Draft by the Washington Bullets and went on to play 14 years with the Bullets, Charlotte Hornets, Golden State Warriors, and Toronto Raptors. The shortest player in NBA history, Muggsy helped lead the Hornets and Raptors to their first playoff appearances. Since retiring from the NBA, Muggsy works on his Muggsy Bogues Family Foundation and as an ambassador for the Hornets.
