About the Author

When Sara Chare first travelled to Asia in 2007 she returned home with a backpack full of colored cloth, beads and recipes. The delicately spiced meals are a rarity and the Khmer lessons never came to pass, but she ll make any excuse to re-visit the continent. Having recently returned from a mammoth trip of Australia exploring out-of-the-way Outback towns and more accessible tourist hot spots, she traded in her Akubra and camper for a sarong and as much curry as she could eat, and travelled Sri Lanka for Footprint. When she s not bartering with tuk-tuk drivers or slapping on the sunscreen she works in publishing and lives in the UK."
